VINTAGE MATCHED PAIR of ACOUSTIC RESEARCH MODEL 35T CONNOISEUR AUDIOPHILE STEREO SPEAKERS. Rarely offered at no reserve , the AR Connoiseur series of bookshelf acoustic suspension speakers were among the very best available when first introduced in 1987. Each oiled walnut veneer cabinet has been freshly cleaned and polished and comes to you in much better than average condition, showing only the least normal signs or wear easily consistent with age, and as shown. Each speaker is fitted with an 8 inch woofer, a 6 1/2 inch midrange and a 1 inch titanium dome tweeter. The speakers have been tested and sound great. Both speakers will need to be refoamed… Center caps are as shown. The grills are the originals, clean and complete as shown. Both AR badges are included. Very close and nearly sequential serial numbers as shown. Each speaker (including grill) measures approximately 23 x 11 x 11 inches. Each speaker weighs 24 pounds. The factory original metal shorting links (4 pieces not shown) are also included so that you can easily multi-wire or biamp this classic system. Also included is the original 1987 Acoustic Research, full color sales brochure as well as those other documents shown in the photos.
